Madison County 4-H Livestock Auction results

The 57th annual Madison County 4-H livestock auction was July 19. There was a total of 221 head of livestock sold for a grand total of $139,526.50. Of this total, 14 rabbits, six boer goats, 56 lambs, 124 hogs and 21 steers were sold during the evening.
Red Gold made a donation of $800 plus six Colts sweatshirts to be auctioned off to even further their donation. Alltrack of Pendleton purchased the sweatshirts for a total of $270.
A total of 463 buyers participated in the auction by auctioneers: Jeff Boone, Jim Dragoo, Gary Simmons and Lee Hendricks.

Benjamin Rogers, son of Lisa Rogers, sold his Grand Champion Meat Pen to Jeff and Linda Sweatland for $175.
Katelyn Rogers, daughter of Lisa Rogers, sold her Reserve Grand Champion Meat Pen to Jeff and Linda Sweatland for $125.
