NWS - HB1224 - Flooding - JC 2

THB photo/John P. Cleary David Odom claims that back flow preventers were not installed the same time piping was installed in the new levee leaving the water to flow directly from White River through the pipes, and caused the flooding in his parents' basement in the 900 block of East 10th Steet. Odom says that family members have lived at this house since 1964 and when the river has reached 19 feet they have had water in the yard, but not inside their house.
