A police chase ended about 10:50 a.m. Monday morning when "stop sticks" were placed in the road near the 12000 block of Ind. 9. In responding to the chase, police closed the intersection of Ind. 9 and 28 near Alexandria. Within a minute of the chase ending, police reported an accident with a vehicle hitting a truck carrying propane.
