Police seek clues in suspicious death

ANDERSON, Ind. — Police are looking for clues in connection with a suspicious death of a man whose body was found May 1.

James O. Gee, 76, was found dead at his home in the 6300 block of North Lunar Lane, Alexandria, near Moonsville.

According to Madison County Sheriff Ron Richardson, the investigation began after Gee failed to show up for work that morning. Gee's body was later found at the home by a family member. Detectives believe that entry into the home was forced and someone had ransacked a locked closet. Gee's safe was also missing.

According to Richardson, detectives have conducted several interviews and the investigation is ongoing.

Anyone who has information that might be helpful to this investigation is asked to call Lt. David Callahan at 646-4014 or Detective Darwin Dwiggins at 646-4025.

According to Gee's obituary, he served in the Air Force and was retired from the Delco Remy Division of General Motors.
