Anderson, Alexandria schools now closed; others closed, delayed

As of 7:40 a.m., Anderson, Alexandria, Head Start (Anderson), St. Ambrose, Madison-Grant United Schools, Shenandoah Schools and Daleville Schools have announced they will be closed today. The following Madison County area schools have announced two-hour delays because of cold and road conditions:

Anderson Christian School (1-hour delay)

Anderson Preparatory Academy

Elwood Community Schools

Frankton-Lapel Schools

Head Start (Elwood)

Indiana Christian Academy

Liberty Christian      Pendleton Christian Church PS-KG

South Madison Community Schools

The Excel Center

TLC Children's Place
