MUNCIE, Ind. — Student journalists from a Ball State University immersive learning program are heading to Sochi, Russia, for the 2014 Winter Olympic Games.
The program called BSU at the Games is a student-managed freelance news agency that will produce stories, photos, videos and graphics from the Olympics. This opportunity allows students to interact with Olympic athletes and produce work for local and national media outlets.
The Olympics are scheduled to run Feb. 7-23.
BSU at the Games made its debut at the 2012 Olympic Games in London with 40 students and more than 250 student-produced multimedia pieces appearing in news outlets.
