New assisted living community now open

---- — FISHERS — Allisonville Meadows Assisting Living Apartments recently opened at 10410 Allisonville Road, Fishers.

It is operated by American Senior Communities, who will have an open house from 4 to 6 p.m. on Aug. 27. There will be live jazz entertainment and hors d’oeuvres. RSVP is appreciated, but not required. Call Cathy Bertling at (317) 436-6400.

The community offers apartments with a variety of floor plans with kitchenettes. Other amenities include cable, 24-hour emergency response system, theater room, beauty and barber shop and free transportation to appointments and activities.

Assistance is available to residents who need help with bathing, dressing and medication management. Memory care is also offered. All meals are served restaurant style.

The community shares a campus with Allisonville Meadows, a senior health and memory care facility.
