100 brave cold for Big Mac Attack in Anderson

Free hamburgers for year given away at new Broadway McDonald's

(Continued)

ANDERSON, Ind. —

"It was kind of a bummer" when the old Broadway McDonald's was closed and demolished in early October so that the new restaurant could be built on the same site, Phil said. "We're happy to see it back."

Gerry Longenbaugh from the Madison County Chamber of Commerce was on hand at Tuesday's opening to welcome people into the new store.

"People have been waiting for this store to open for quite some time," he said. "This new building shows McDonald's believes in the north side."

Moris said the restaurant will offer daily specials through Jan. 25 to celebrate the re-opening.

In addition to a completely redesigned interior and dining area, the store also features a two-lane 24-hour drive-through. The dining room will be open daily from 4 a.m. to midnight.
