PENDLETON — The Pendleton Community Library, 595 E. Water St., will host a program at 10 a.m. Saturday for those thinking about retirement or already retired.
Topics to be covered will include Understanding the Social Security program, deciding on when and how to take Social Security benefits. This educational session will help people to understand Social Security and how to maximize the benefits.
◆ An estate planning attorney will be available to answer any questions on probate.
◆ A government-qualified specialist will be on hand to discuss the reverse mortgage program.
◆ There will also be a discussion on how to learn how to transition from the workforce to retirement.
