Manufacturer Keihin to dedicate new digs

ANDERSON — Vehicle parts manufacturer Keihin North America will dedicate its Anderson facilities at the Flagship Enterprise Center, 2701 Enterprise Drive, today.

The Honda supplier said in January it would move to Anderson, consolidating its offices in Fishers and Greenfield, eventually creating between 130 and 175 management, engineering and development jobs.

The company will host a ribbon cutting ceremony and dedication at its new facilities, with Mayor Kevin Smith and Flagship president Chuck Staley, who will welcome Keihin’s Vice President Gregory Young and present him with a city of Anderson pin.

“Keihin is a great international manufacturing company and we are excited to welcome them to Anderson and Madison County,” Staley said. The company’s “experience in engine management and climate control systems is a perfect fit for the Flagship Enterprise Center.”
