THB wins state advertising awards

ANDERSON — The advertising staff of The Herald Bulletin won nine awards Friday at the annual Hoosier State Press Association advertising conference, in Shelbyville. The awards recognize the best newspaper and marketing ideas for the past year among Indiana newspapers.

Christi Kincade and Kim Williams received special recognition for newspaper advertisement of the year for a Madison County Federal Credit Union ad, which also won first place in its category, financial institution advertisement.

Other awards won by The Herald Bulletin:

— First place, staff, niche publication, “The 100 Greatest Athletes of Madison County.”

— First, Bobby Evans and Tory Campbell, home and garden advertisement, Elwood Furniture.

— Second, Amber Nance and Evans, automotive advertisement, Gaddis Dodge of Muncie.

— Second, Christi Kincade and Evans, food and drug advertisement, Jinny’s Cupcake.

— Third, Campbell, real estate, F C Tucker.

— Third, Campbell and Evans, professional services, Irving Materials.

— Third, Andrea Perry, online display, Penske Chevrolet of Indianapolis.
