ELWOOD, Ind. — There’s a new “pizza pizza” spot in Elwood.

Little Ceasars, known for its $5 “Hot-n-Ready” pies and signature “Crazy Bread,” opened Monday on Ind. 37 next to Subway restaurant.

The turn-out was “pretty decent” on opening day, said owner Paul Armstrong, who also operates franchises in Anderson, New Castle and Indianapolis.

The carry-out-only Elwood store employs nearly 30 people, Armstrong said. It’s open 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and noon to 10 p.m. Sunday.

This is the second Little Ceasars location in Madison County and the first in Elwood, according to a store locator on the company’s website

While Elwood has other pizza options including Pizza Hut and Papa John’s, Armstrong said his store will help drive local prices down with its low-cost pies.

And Elwood residents who are fans of the pizza chain will finally be able to satisfy their cravings, he said. “Everybody has different tastes,” he said. “We can help with that.”
