---- — ANDERSON — The Anderson-based Financial Enhancement Group LLC recently received a trademark for its Family Focus process.

The financial planning process is driven by a one-page financial plan with a predetermined six-step review process that includes areas of attention regarding the client’s investments, legacy and estate planning solutions, tax planning, retirement strategies and risk management and life issues.

“Individuals should always ask their advisers about their process for dealing with expected issues as well as the surprises along the way. Initial decisions are important, but so is the necessity to make changes in a very fluid world,” said Joe Clark, CFP, the managing partner and co-founder of the firm. Clark is also a columnist for The Herald Bulletin.

Financial Enhancement Group also has offices in Lafayette, Rensselaer and Indianapolis. The SEC registered firm serves clients in 25 states and manages more than $170 million dollars.
