In the owners’ words: Rose Beeman says her taxi service evolved after years of driving for other people and being a former owner of a taxi company.
Beeman drove a school bus for about 43 years — 35 with Anderson Community Schools. Her experience includes being the general manager for Haydens Anderson Transit for 20 years and driving a taxi in Anderson for 12 years.
“We are not in competition with anyone, just giving people another choice,” she said. “We have friendly drivers, clean taxi cabs, and do things in a timely manner.
“We also have a third cab, if needed, to make things timely.”
Beeman said her drivers are experienced and they know the town well.
“When a customer walks into our business they can expect a nice environment, friendly dispatchers, a clean place to sit and even a cup of coffee, if they wish, and a ride to where they need to go,” she said.
Rose’s Taxi is female owned, family run and she drives daily, Beeman said.
“The customers keep calling us back because of our quick response time, and they are comfortable with the drivers and the vehicle,” she said.
“The mission of this company is to give this town and surrounding areas safe and dependable transportation service.”
