ANDERSON, Ind. — Andrew Luck put on a show Tuesday evening at Macholtz Stadium in front of the largest crowd for a training camp practice this year.

Luck completed 26 of 35 passes and threw six touchdowns in front of an estimated 7,350 fans. The second-year quarterback completed three touchdown passes each to T.Y. Hilton and Reggie Wayne.

He hit Wayne on a deep seam route early in practice, and made the play of the day with a long throw down the sideline for a score to Hilton. The second-year wide receiver beat cornerback Greg Toler by just a step on the play, and Luck dropped the ball right in his hands.

Other highlights included a deep touchdown pass from Matt Hasselbeck to Griff Whalen on a third-and-20 conversion and an outstanding one-handed grab by Jabin Sambrano on a pass from Chandler Harnish along the sideline.

Cornerback Cassius Vaughn ended practice with an interception in the end zone against Hasselbeck.

"First of all, many thanks to all the fans," head coach Chuck Pagano said. "They've been coming out routinely, and the crowd tonight was unbelievable. ... It was a pleasure playing and coaching in front of all these people."

There were a couple notes on the injury front. Wide receiver Darrius Heyward-Bey dressed and participated in individual drills before sitting out of team work. Pagano said DHB will continue treatment on his sprained left knee today and Thursday.

Strong safety LaRon Landry sat out practice with a knee issue, but Pagano expects him to return Thursday.

The Colts have a day off today before returning for a public practice at 2 p.m. Thursday. Indianapolis opens the preseason schedule Sunday against Buffalo.

"I'm really excited for Sunday," Pagano said.
