ANDERSON, Ind. — The Indianapolis Colts will have a morning practice Friday, modifying their original schedule. The practice, 9:10-11:40 a.m., at the team's Anderson University training camp will be open to the public.
The team will not practice Friday afternoon, opting instead to give players and staff an early start on their day off Saturday.
The Colts will return to AU to practice Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday next week. The schedule calls for an afternoon practice open to the public each day, except Tuesday, when the Colts are slated to hold a public practice under the lights of Macholtz Stadium 6:30-8:55 p.m.
The team will be preparing for its first preseason game, at 1 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 11, at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, against the Buffalo Bills.
