- Madison County sheriff’s deputies arrested Julie A. Smitson, 43, Richmond. 10:15 a.m. Tuesday. Madison County Jail. Suspicion of probation violation. No bond.

- Anderson police arrested Eduardo Gallardo, 18, 4500 Dan Patch Circle, Anderson. 11:05 p.m. Monday. 2900 George Street. Suspicion of operating a vehicle while intoxicated, illegal possession, consumption or transportation of alcohol, and operating a vehicle while never licensed. No bond.

- Anderson police arrested Kurtis L. Swafford, 53, Morton Street, Anderson. 12:30 a.m. Monday. 1600 Scatterfield Road. Suspicion of operating a vehicle after a lifetime suspension. Released.

- Madison County Drug Task Force arrested Michael L. Thompson, 38, Meridian Street, Anderson. 9:30 a.m. Monday. 700 Central Avenue. Suspicion of obtaining a controlled substance by fraud. Released.

- Anderson police arrested Robert R. Boyd, 38, West Third Street, Anderson. 5:26 p.m. Monday. Nichol and Madison avenues. Suspicion of dealing or possessing a lookalike substance. Bond is $10,000.
