ANDERSON, Ind. — Police were searching Wednesday for two men wanted for an armed robbery at a CVS store on Anderson’s west side.

Anderson Police Department Sgt. Bill Casey said two men entered the CVS at Raible and Nichol avenues around 11:15 a.m. Wednesday. They had handguns and wore masks, he said.

One robber held the front register cashier at gunpoint while the other ran back to the pharmacy and demanded drugs from the pharmacist, Casey said. The men then ran out the front door and fled on foot, he added.

A police set up a perimeter as K-9s led officers to 16th and Fountain streets, where they found masks and gloves. Wednesday night, police did not have suspects, Casey said. No employees were injured in the robbery, Casey said.
