Arrest Log

Arrests made by Madison County law enforcement on Saturday and Sunday, based on Madison County Jail records. Charges are recommended by arresting officers, but are not final until the Madison County prosecutor reviews the case and files official charges.

Madison County deputies arrested Carlos M. Chavez, 46, of the 12300 block of Keeley Court, Fishers, at 4:29 p.m., Saturday. No bond was set for court commitment on a Class D felony.

Alexandria police arrested Michael L. Stewart, 36, of the 800 block of Deerfield Road, Anderson, at 4:37 p.m. Saturday. Bond was set at $5,000 for Class D felony possession of a syringe, Class D felony possession of paraphernalia and Class A misdemeanor OWI.

Madison County deputies arrested David F. Smith, 42, of the 1700 block of East Lynn Street, Anderson, at 5:25 p.m. Saturday. Bond was set at $2,000 for contempt of court on child support.

Anderson police arrested Hortencia S. Santiago, 35, of the 300 block of West Ninth Street, Anderson, at 5:59 p.m. Saturday. No bond was set for failure to appear on a Class A misdemeanor, Class D felony neglect of a dependent and Class A misdemeanor driving while suspended.

Elwood police arrested Justin E. Coots, 23, of the 500 block of North 13th Street, Elwood, at 8 p.m. Saturday. Bond was set at $3,000 for Class A misdemeanor possession of marijuana.

Anderson police arrested Thomas L. Mundy, 25, of the 1700 block of Jackson Street, Anderson, at 8:03 p.m. Saturday. No bond was set for Class A misdemeanor battery and Class B misdemeanor criminal mischief.

Madison County deputies arrested Brandon E. Hallowell, 24, of the 7500 block of Sprague Street, Anderson, at 9:42 p.m. Saturday. Bond was set at $750 for contempt of court on child support.

Madison County deputies arrested David L. Carr Jr., 42, of the 3600 block of North County Road 200 West, Anderson, at 1:18 a.m. Sunday. Bond was set at $6,500 for Class D felony possession of a controlled substance and contempt of court on child support.
