Arrest Log

Arrests made by Madison County law enforcement on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, based on Madison County Jail records. Charges are recommended by arresting officers, but are not final until the Madison County prosecutor reviews the case and files official charges.

Anderson police arrested Jacob S. Chatman, 24, of the 1800 block of Whittier Avenue, Anderson, at 12:42 p.m. Monday. Bond was set at $2,000 for Class B misdemeanor public intoxication and parole violation in a Class B felony.

Madison County deputies arrested Tama G. Butts, 23, of the 1200 block of Maple Street, Anderson, at 12:49 p.m. Monday. Bond was set at $500 for Class A misdemeanor court commitment and failure to appear in a civil case.

Madison County deputies arrested Mary J. Summers, 51, of the 300 block of East 12th Street, Anderson, at 2:15 p.m. Monday. No bond was set for Class D felony court commitment.

Madison County deputies arrested Jason E. Adams, 41, of the 1 block of Estate Street, Anderson, at 3 p.m. Monday. No bond was set for Class A misdemeanor conversion and violation of probation for a Class A misdemeanor.

Elwood police arrested Carolyn L. Tillery, 24, of the 1900 block of North B Street, Elwood, at 5:42 p.m. Monday. Bond was set at $5,000 for Class D felony theft.

Pendleton police arrested Jeremy R. Roberts, 33, of the 1000 block of West First Street, Anderson, at 2:40 a.m. Tuesday. No bond was set for Class A misdemeanor invasion of privacy.

Madison County deputies arrested Thomas C. Caldwell Jr., 46, of the 1900 block of West 22nd Street, Anderson, at 5:13 a.m. Tuesday. Bond was set at $10,000 for Class D felony possession of cocaine or narcotic drug and Class A misdemeanor reckless possession of paraphernalia.

Elwood police arrested Douglas W. Elsten Jr., 42, of the 1300 block of South G Street, Elwood, at 6:21 a.m. Tuesday. Bond was set at $20,000 for Class D felony OWI: previous with passenger under 18, Class C misdemeanor OWI, Class B misdemeanor leave accident scene and Class A misdemeanor OWI: endangering a person.
