Donations sought to support fire rescue house project

The Herald Bulletin

---- — ANDERSON — The Fire Rescue House of Madison County, 824 W. Third St., Anderson, is seeking help from the residents of Anderson and Madison County.

Residents may select Plan 1 and adopt the Fire Rescue House for one month. Paying utility bills for all three locations runs approximately $500, a representative said in a press release. This provides an opportunity for churches, businesses or individuals to donate to a local need where all of their money stays in Madison County.

Plan 2, residents may adopt a family for two weeks. Families who have lost everything in a fire often don’t have the funds for all their necessities; $200 will cover many of their needs, according to the press release.

For more information on how to donate, contact Skip Ockomon at 425-1936 or d.ockomon@comcast.net or Frank Caldwell, 635-4785 or frank.caldwell@infarmbureau.com or www.firerescuehouse.org.
