ANDERSON, Ind. —
Anderson police are investigating two unrelated stabbings that occurred late Monday night and Tuesday morning, according to department spokesman Detective Joel Sandefur.
The first incident occurred about 11:30 p.m. in the 1100 block of West 13th Street, in which a man was stabbed three times. Sandefur said the stabbing victim was treated for three puncture woods at Community Hospital Anderson.
The victim was not named, he said, and the matter is still under investigation.
In Tuesday morning’s case, a man told police he was stabbed by a female associate about 11 a.m. in the 2300 block of West 15th Street.
Sandefur said police interviewed the woman and she was released without charges being filed.
That case also remains under investigation, he said.
