Flash flooding reported in city

ANDERSON, Ind. — Some area residents are experiencing heavy flood waters and there is flash flooding around Anderson, according to a city press release.

The Emergency Management Dispatch Center, 931 Gene Gustin Way, is providing sand bags to help combat the flood waters and emergency relief is available to residents on a case-by-case basis.

Those needing immediate assistance with flood waters or those who have been displaced by the flooding can contact the American Red Cross at (888) 684-1441.

The Herald Bulletin is talking to people fighting the flood waters and

will  provide breaking news on the conditions as it happens.
