Arrests made by Madison County law enforcement on Thursday and Friday, based on Madison County Jail records. Charges are recommended by arresting officers, but are not final until the Madison County prosecutor reviews the case and files official charges.

  • Ingalls police arrested Shane B. Downer, 37, of the 7100 block of South County Road 400 East, Markleville, at 11:55 a.m. Thursday at the intersection of Woods Drive and State Road 67, Ingalls. Bond was set at $5,000 on a Class D felony charge of habitual traffic offenses.
  • Anderson police arrested Eric B. Sterling, 44, of the 600 block of Louise Street, Anderson, at 12:41 p.m. Thursday at the intersection of 22nd Street and Arrow. Bond was set at $5,000 on a Class A misdemeanor charge of operating a vehicle while intoxicated.
  • The Madison County Sheriff’s Department arrested Jessickia D, M, Ash, 22, of the 100 block of Locust Street, Anderson, at 5:22 p.m. Thursday. No Bond was set on a court ordered return to jail for booking.
  • The Madison County Sheriff’s Department arrested Jennifer M. Tragesser, 36, of the 3200 block of East County Road 100 South, Anderson, at 6:50 p.m. Thursday. Bond was set at $10,000 on a Class A misdemeanor charge of conversion.
  • The Madison County Sheriff’s Department arrested Lance C. Morgan, 22, of the 1100 block of North Drive, Anderson, at 8:38 p.m. Thursday. No bond was set on a Class C felony charge of parole violation.
  • The Madison County Sheriff’s Department arrested Ashley R. Updegraff, 29, of the 7400 block of Dunmore Point, Noblesville, at 8:55 p.m. Thursday. No bond was set on two Class D felony charges of probation violation.
  • Anderson police arrested Gregory L. Jarvis Jr., 27, of the 1200 block of North Short Hazlett Street, Anderson, at 2:26 a.m. Friday. Bond was set at $30,000 on two Class D felony charges of violation of work release and theft, a Class C felony charge of burglary and a Class A misdemeanor charge of resisting law enforcement.
  • Elwood police arrested Nathan R. Slayton, 38, of the 900 block of North B Street, Elwood, at 2:34 a.m. Friday. No bond was set on three Class D felony charges of failure to appear for a jail booking and a Class A misdemeanor court commitment.
  • Anderson police arrested Dustin M. Poor, 32, of the 4500 block of East Lynn Street, Anderson, at 1:13 p.m. Friday, at the intersection of 25th Street and Jackson. Bond was set at $10,000 on a Class A misdemeanor charge of driving while suspended with prior offense and a Class B misdemeanor charge of reckless possession of paraphernalia.
  • Anderson police arrested Kelvin R. Jackson, 40, of the 1700 block of Dewey Street, Anderson, at 1:44 p.m. Friday. Bond was set at $20,000 on a Class C felony charge of robbery and a Class A misdemeanor charge of resisting law enforcement.
  • Anderson police arrested Brandon S. Hill, 27, of the 2000 block of Morton Street, Anderson, at 2:10 p.m. Friday. Bond was set at $20,000 on a Class C felony charge of burglary and a Class D felony charge of theft.
  • The Madison County Sheriff’s Department arrested Tremel D. Black, 26, of the 800 block of West 11th Street, Anderson, at 2:36 p.m. Friday. Bond was set at $5,000 on a Class D felony charge of failure to return to lawful detention.
  • The Madison County Sheriff’s Department arrested Richard A. McGill Jr., 34, of the 600 block of East Jackson Street, Alexandria, at 3 p.m. Friday. No bond was set on a Class B felony return to county jail per court order for jail booking.
