Arrest log

Arrests made by Madison County law enforcement on Saturday and Sunday, based on Madison County Jail records. Charges are recommended by arresting officers, but are not final until the Madison County prosecutor reviews the case and files official charges.

• Anderson police arrested Prince Q. Tate, 21, of the 1700 block of Fountain Street, Anderson, at 4:25 p.m. Saturday. No bond was set for a Class C misdemeanor in another jurisdiction.

• Anderson police arrested Jeffrey A. Johnson, 47, of the 3100 block of Jay Drive, Anderson, at 6:41 p.m. Saturday. No bond was set for failure to appear on a Class D felony.

• Anderson police arrested Joseph A. Johnson, 47, of the 3100 block of Chase Street, Anderson, at 7:15 p.m. Saturday. Bond was set at $20,000 for Class D felony theft, Class B felony burglary and probation violation on a Class B felony.

• Ingalls police arrested Joseph R. Brigman, 32, of the 7400 block of San Marco Drive, Fortville, at 10:14 p.m. Saturday. Bond was set at $357.15 for contempt of court in a civil case.

• Anderson police arrested Dawn A. Taliaferro, 44, of the 300 block of West Fifth Street, Anderson, at 10:56 p.m. Saturday. Bond was set at $10,000 for Class C felony battery with a deadly weapon.

• Pendleton police arrested James C. Thompson, 20, of the 900 block of Cottage Avenue, Anderson, at 5:19 a.m. Sunday. Bond was set at $3,000 for Class A misdemeanor dealing marijuana, Class A misdemeanor possession of marijuana and Class A misdemeanor possession of paraphernalia.

• Alexandria police arrested Stephanie M. Shipley, 33, of the 200 block of East Summitville Street, Summitville, at 5:19 a.m. Sunday. Bond was set at $4,000 for Class C misdemeanor OWI, Class A misdemeanor possession of marijuana and Class A misdemeanor reckless possession of paraphernalia.

• Anderson police arrested Bradley R. Nicholson, 32, of the 1500 block of Pearl Street, Anderson, at 5:56 a.m. Sunday. No bond was set for Class B misdemeanor disorderly conduct and Class B misdemeanor public intoxication.

• Elwood police arrested Timothy A. Pearson, 43, of the 1800 block of North A Street, Elwood, at 6:07 a.m. Sunday. No bond was set for failure to appear on a Class A misdemeanor.
