Police seek leads in 2013 homicide

ANDERSON — The Anderson Police Department is seeking the public's assistance in solving a homicide. Scott Phillips was found brutally slain inside his home at 4818 Main St., during the early evening hours of Nov. 14, 2013.

Since that time Anderson police have spoken to several people of interest and have followed up on numerous leads, according to a press release from APD. However, the police suspect that someone may have seen something or heard something that night prior to or after Phillips' death that will aid police in their investigation.

Phillips was last seen or heard from on Tuesday, Nov. 12, around 7:30 p.m.

Anyone who has information about this crime is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 649-8310. All callers will remain anonymous. Any tip that leads to the arrest of Phillips' killer will be eligible for a cash reward.
