Arrest log: April 27

Arrests made by Madison County law enforcement on Thursday and Friday, based on Madison County Jail records. Charges are recommended by arresting officers, but are not final until the Madison County prosecutor reviews the case and files official charges.

  • Drug Task Force officers arrested Camy V. Smith, 27, of the 2400 block of Melody Lane, Anderson, at 8:53 a.m. Thursday. Bond was set at $5,000 for Class D felony maintaining a common nuisance, Class D felony violation of probation, Class D felony possession of precursors and Class D felony possession of meth.
  • Anderson police arrested Stacie R. Leever, 37, of the 400 block of East 15th Street, Anderson, at 9:52 a.m. Thursday. Bond was set at $500 for Class A misdemeanor battery, Class A misdemeanor contempt of court and Class A misdemeanor violation of probation.
  • Anderson police arrested Kevin C. Krebs, 47, of the 600 block of Main Street, Elwood, at 10:32 a.m. Thursday. No bond was set for Class B misdemeanor public intoxication.
  • Anderson police arrested Kevin D. Jones, 47, of the 1700 block of Alhambra Drive, Anderson, at 11:22 a.m. Thursday. Bond was set at $5,000 for Class A misdemeanor driving while suspended and Class D felony work release violation.
  • Elwood police arrested Courtney R. Call, 32, of the 800 block of North 13th Street, Elwood, at 12:20 p.m. Thursday. Bond was set at $3,000 for Class A misdemeanor driving while suspended.
  • Elwood police arrested Tapeka J. Idlewine, 18, of the 1600 block of South A Street, Elwood, at 2:47 p.m. Thursday. No bond was set for Class A misdemeanor invasion of privacy.
  • Anderson police arrested Steven L. Wilson, 34, of the 1700 block of Jackson Street, Anderson, at 4:12 p.m. Thursday. No bond was set for Class D felony receiving stolen property and Class B felony burglary.
  • Madison County police arrested Melisa A. East, 32, of the 100 block of West Eighth Street, Anderson, at 5:05 p.m. Thursday. No bond was set for two counts of Class D felony contempt of court.
  • Elwood police arrested Alexis K. Dulworth, 19, of the 200 block of West Taylor Street, Alexandria, at 5:15 p.m. Thursday. No bond was set for Class A misdemeanor invasion of privacy.
  • Anderson police arrested Janice L. Kelley, 37, of the 2300 block of Arrow Avenue, Anderson, at 5:48 p.m. Thursday. Bond was set at $5,000 for Class D felony possession of marijuana.    
  • Madison County police arrested Daniel R. Meyer, 43, of the 7500 block of East State Road 28, Elwood, at 6:18 p.m. Thursday. No bond was set for two counts of Class C felony failure to appear and Class C felony probation violation.
  • Madison County police arrested Shawn P. Kane, 42, of the 1800 block of Bent Grass Drive, Anderson, at 8:19 p.m. Thursday. Bond was set at $20,000 for Class B felony dealing meth.
  • Elwood police arrested Thomas D. King, 27, of the 1300 block of South H Street, Elwood, at 8:22 p.m. Thursday. Bond was set at $35,000 for Class A felony child molest.
  • Ingalls police arrested Charles J. Holmes, 27, of the 3400 block of Glenn Arm Drive, Indianapolis, at 9:49 p.m. Thursday. Bond was set at $8,000 for Class C misdemeanor OWI.
  • Elwood police arrested Cody R. Rose, 20, of the 1500 block of South Indiana 37, Elwood, at 10:23 p.m. Thursday. Bond was set at $5,000 for Class D felony criminal recklessness, Class B misdemeanor disorderly conduct, Class C misdemeanor illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor and Class C felony intimidation.
  • Anderson police arrested John H. Howard, 64, of the 1600 block of West 26th Street, Anderson, at 1:32 a.m. Friday. No bond was set for Class A misdemeanor battery.
  • Alexandria police arrested Sarah J. Abel, 33, of East County Road 900 North, Alexandria, at 2:25 a.m. Friday. No bond was set for Class A misdemeanor invasion of privacy and Class A misdemeanor battery.

  • Election board looking into voter fraud allegation The Madison County Election Board delayed a decision into allegations of voter fraud in the May primary until it can gather additional information. Brian Bell, who lost the Democratic Party‚Äôs nomination for sheriff by 48 votes to Scott Mellinger, raised allegations to the election board during a hearing Friday.
