Arrests made by Madison County law enforcement on Tuesday and Wednesday, based on Madison County Jail records. Charges are recommended by arresting officers, but are not final until the Madison County prosecutor reviews the case and files official charges.

Anderson police arrested Wesley I. Morgan, 18, of the 1100 block of Locust Street, Anderson, at 10:03 a.m. Tuesday. No bond was set for Class A misdemeanor battery.

Alexandria police arrested Ken L. Zigler, 49, of the 200 block of Poplar Street, Alexandria, at 4:19 p.m. Tuesday. Bond was set at $5,000 for Class A misdemeanor resisting law enforcement, Class A misdemeanor disorderly conduct and Class A misdemeanor public intoxication.

Madison County deputies arrested Gayland L. Swaim, 55, of the 200 block of West 13th Street, Anderson, at 6:37 p.m. Tuesday. No bond was set for failure to appear on a Class D felony.

Edgewood police arrested Brandon L. Eaton, 23, of the 700 block of Eighth Street, Lapel, at 8:20 p.m. Tuesday. Bond was set at $3,000 for Class A misdemeanor operator never licensed and failure to appear on a Class D felony.

Madison County deputies arrested Michael Carpenter, 64, of the 1800 block of East 18th Street, Anderson, at 8:41 p.m. Tuesday. Bond was set at $2,000 for contempt of court in a civil case.

Madison County deputies arrested Brian J. Christlieb, 28, of the 1200 block of West Fifth Street, Anderson, at 8:56 p.m. Tuesday. Bond was set at $505 for failure to appear on a Class A misdemeanor.

Madison County deputies arrested Tony L. Bright, 43, of the 100 block of North Sixth Street, Summitville, at 10:07 p.m. Tuesday. Bond was set at $10,000 for Class C felony operating after a lifetime suspension.

Chesterfield police arrested Gary C. Riedel, 50, of the 4200 block of East 150 North Anderson, at 10:07 p.m. Tuesday. Bond was set at $5,000 for Class A misdemeanor OWI.

Anderson police arrested Randy D. Nelson, 44, of the 7600 block of South County Road 100 East, Pendleton, at 1:28 a.m. Wednesday. Bond was set at $20,000 for Class B felony dealing meth, Class D felony maintaining a common nuisance, Class D felony possession or sale of precursors and probation violation on a Class C felony.

Madison County deputies arrested Jonathan D. Reddington, 24, of the 3000 block of Market Street, Pendleton, at 5:16 a.m. Wednesday. Bond was set at $5,000 for Class A misdemeanor OWI.
