Some Anderson residents still without power

ANDERSON, Ind. — As of 9:40 a.m. this morning there were still a small number of power outages in Anderson according to David Eicks, dispatcher with Anderson Power & Light, due to Thursday night's storm.

During the course of the storm, which saw winds in excess of 50 miles per hour, there were about 6,000-6,500 customers without power.

Eicks stated there were a variety of different outages spread throughout the city.
