Doctors to see new restrictions on painkiller prescriptions. (Article published Oct. 30)

THB: Something has to be done about the rampant pill problem in this country and specifically this town. Let’s hope that there is a plan in place for those who truly need these drugs to continue to receive them.

Two masked men walked into First Merchants Bank on Nichol Avenue last Monday and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash after a bank employee was struck in the head with a gun. One suspect has been arrested. (Oct. 30)

THB: With cameras everywhere, especially in banks, it does seem foolhardy.

Anderson City Council approves 2014 budget. (Oct. 24)

THB: Or the Democratic majority council just wants to put up a roadblock whenever the Republican mayor suggests something in the name of progress.
