The Herald Bulletin

---- — Each Monday, The Herald Bulletin publishes "You Said It," a compilation of reader comments from www.theheraldbulletin.com coupled with responses by the newspaper's editorial board.

The Church of God announced it will move its annual convention from Anderson to Oklahoma City in 2014. (Article published Nov. 27)

THB: Anderson will serve as a satellite location. The ministry cites the lack of hotels and motels in the area as well as the changing demographics, with churches growing in the West. Officials say that a third of the Church of God's membership reside in the western region of the country.

Frank Hajny, owner of Cycle Machining Co., closed up shop after 30 years of owning his own Harley-Davidson repair business. (Nov. 25)

THB: Another good reason to support small and locally owned businesses.

Anderson High School students excel at the Stock Market Game. (Nov. 25)

THB: The Stock Market Game is sponsored by the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association and the Indiana Secretary of State Securities Division. Is it really a bad thing to know how the market works?
