Kids can earn prizes for reading books

ANDERSON, Ind. — “Pop Open a Good Book!”, a children’s reading program at the Anderson Public Library, is planned throughout January and February. Children can sign up at the library to read 300 minutes to earn a book and two other prizes.

Those wishing to participate can register online at between Jan. 2 and Feb. 28. After registering, children up to age 12 can track their minutes online.

Prizes are available at Children’s Services at Anderson Public Library and the Lapel Branch while supplies last. All prizes must be claimed by March 8. Contact Children’s Services at 641-2448 for questions.
