McDonald's, library partnering in reading program

---- — ANDERSON — McDonald’s Restaurants of Central Indiana are partnering with the Anderson Public Library and celebrating Happy Meal Books with the “Give a Book, Get a Book” campaign.

Now through Nov. 14, patrons can donate new or gently used children’s books to the Anderson Public Library and receive a Happy Meal Be Our Guest card, entitling them to one free Happy Meal. At the completion of the drive, the books will be donated to central Indiana organizations in need.

During the Happy Meal Book offers, families will be able to receive four original books featuring McDonald’s Happy Meal characters.

The four limited edition books are “The Goat Who Ate Everything,” “Deana’s Big Dreams,” “Ant, Can’t” and Doddi the Dodo Goes to Orlando.”
