Franklin named to IWU dean's list

MARION — Aaron Michael Franklin, son of Mike and Susie Franklin, has received recognition on the Indiana Wesleyan University dean's list for the fall semester of the 2013 academic year.

Local students graduate from Manchester

NORTH MANCHESTER — Area students are May 18 graduates of Manchester University in North Manchester:

• Tyler J. Evans of Anderson, graduated cum laude with a bachelor of arts degree in French with secondary education and a minor in English/language arts education. He graduated from Highland High School.

• Andrew J. Gray of Anderson, bachelor of science degree in health and physical education. He graduated from Anderson High School.

• Matthew S. Gray of Anderson, bachelor of science degree in communication studies. He graduated from Anderson High School.

• Wesley E. Heath of Anderson, graduated cum laude with a bachelor of arts degree in sociology with a minor in psychology. He graduated from Highland High School.

• Max S. Jones of Anderson, bachelor of science degree in sociology with a concentration in criminal justice. He graduated from Highland High School.

Butler student Gentry studies abroad

INDIANAPOLIS — Jill Gentry, a political science major and a resident of Anderson, was one of 59 Butler University students to study abroad during the spring 2014 semester.

Butler offers more than 110 study abroad programs in over 40 countries to meet the diverse needs of its student population.
