SUMMITVILLE, Ind. —
The annual Scholastic Awards Program was held April 24 at Madison-Grant High School.
Each year Madison-Grant High School and patrons of the community recognize students who have achieved academic excellence. To receive an award a student must maintain a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher. This year 26 seniors, 23 juniors and 30 sophomores will be honored.
Seniors honored were Louisa Belz, Brandon Brunt, Jenna Crume, Jennifer Daniel, Austin Engle, Elayna Fick, Erin Gibson, Shelby Haisley, Meagan Hall, Jessica Hoke, Conner Hunt, Jeremy Johnson, Katie Kohlmorgen, Rebecca Lagle, Breanne Lewis, Kristin Mercker, Rachel Milliner, Anna Mueller, Chelsea Rahrar, Shane Reisinger, Alex Scott, Samantha Small, Zachary Smith, Victoria Stanley, John Thomas Whybrew and Hunter Wise.
Junior honorees were Drusilla Corliss, Stephen Cox, Griffin Engle, Brandon Fields, John Finley, Adam Gibson, John Hanes, Bailie Havens, Kelsen Hazelwood, Bethani Herniak, Kelci Hoke, Jessica Hull, Robbie Kelsay, Abby Lemon, Cierra Liddick, Kayla Martin, Kristen Martin, Jasmine Nelson, Jerica Rodabaugh, Kayla Stanley, Theresa Thieleke, Caleb Whybrew and Alyssa York.
These following juniors received a scholar patch for maintaining a 3.75 grade-point average for five semesters: Drusilla Corliss, Griffin Engle, Adam Gibson, Jessica Hull, Cierra Liddick, Kayla Martin, Kristen Martin, Jerica Rodabaugh, Theresa Thieleke, and Caleb Whybrew.
Sophomores being honored were Lucas Brown, Brantley Butcher, Marshall Carey, Victoria Crouse, Evan Curtis, Aaron Dreaden, Cheyanne Hasty, Faith Hawkins, Cheyenne Holliday, Halie Johnson, Jacob Johnson, Stephanie Jones, Alexis King, Faith Kitts, Hope Kitts, Abigail Manwell, Elizabeth Mathews, Sam McDermit, Zachary Meisner, Meagan Mooney, Jamie Moriarity, Ashley Moyer, Aaron Patton, Clinton Peacock, Travis Rogers, Alexandra Small, Brandon Stowers, Hayley Thomason, Holly Webb and Tanner Wise.
