Master Gardener Intern training set to begin

---- — ANDERSON — Master Gardener Intern training will be offered on Tuesdays, from 6 to 9 p.m. beginning Feb. 4, said Kathleen Sprouse, new educator at the Purdue Cooperative Extension Service. The program will be offered at the Extension Office’s new location at 2434 Mounds Road in the Madison County Youth Development Complex.

The Master Gardener program is designed to train volunteers to assist with horticultural education programs for the Extension Service. Upon completion of the training program, they are identified as Master Gardener interns.

The training program will consist of 13 sessions in horticulture and plant science, taught by Purdue Extension educators and local horticulture experts.
