Democrats lead all local races with 44 precincts reported

ANDERSON, Ind. — Democrats are ahead in all local races with 44 of 112 precincts counted, according to the Madison County Clerk's office.

The closest race is for North District County Commissioner, where challenger Tom McCarty holds a 11,341 to 11,321 lead over incumbent John Richwine.

In the contested Anderson Schools board race, incumbent Tim Long holds a narrow lead over Virginia Chapman, and in the South Madison board race, incumbent Amy McGinnis is out ahead of Larry Higgins.
