Amy Christine Massengill and Richard Thomas Hay will marry at 5:30 p.m. June 29 at Washington Park East Community Life Center, Indianapolis, with Pastor Terry Nennich officiating.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Stephen and Rebecca Massengill, Anderson. She is a 1998 graduate of Highland High School and received a B.S. degree in elementary education from Ball State University in 2003. She is pursuing a master’s degree in education and an administrator’s license at Anderson University. She taught at Marion Community Schools for four years and currently is a first-grade teacher at the Challenge Foundation Academy.

Her fiance is the son of Thomas and Linda Hay of Anderson. He is a 1995 graduate of Highland High School and attended Anderson University for two years. He worked eight years for the Anderson Police Department and is currently in his third year as a deputy for the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Department.
