Thanh and Kim Nguyen of New Castle are proud to announce the engagement of their daughter, April Nicole Jones, to Jeremy Robert Havens, son of Carolyn Trueblood and the late Russell Havens, both of Anderson.

April is a 1998 graduate of New Castle Chrysler High School. She attended Ball State University where she received her bachelor’s degree in 2003 and her master’s in 2007. She is currently a school counselor at New Castle Chrysler High School.

Jeremy attended Highland High School. He graduated from Ivy Tech in 2003 and received his bachelor of science from Ball State University in 2006. He is currently a behavioral clinician at Wishard Memorial Hospital.

The couple will marry at 5:30 p.m. July 12 at First Baptist Church in New Castle.
