— Nicole Hoffman and Jemanda (Jay) Harmon are engaged to be married on Aug. 1 at the Roostertail Entertainment Complex in Detroit, Mich., with Pastor Victor Small officiating.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Christine (Richard) Patton, of Dacula, Ga., and Michael (Jennifer) Hawkins, of Grand Rapids, Mich. Nicole is a 1998 graduate of South Side High School in Fort Wayne, and graduated in 2003 from Ball State University with a bachelor’s degree in business marketing.
Jemanda is the son of Delores (Anthony) King, of Anderson, and Joe Harmon, Jr., of Lima, Ohio. He is a 1996 graduate of Muncie Central High School and studied physical education at Ball State University.
The new couple will reside in Indianapolis.
