Brittney Elaine Barkdull and Wesly Kenneth Jones will marry at 4:30 p.m. Aug. 23 at First Baptist Church, New Castle, with Neal Brown, uncle of the bride, officiating.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Tim and Lisa Barkdull, Pendleton. She is a 2003 graduate of Pendleton Heights High School and currently enrolled at Kaplan College. She is employed by Bronze Bay Tanning Salons.

Her fiancé is the son of Kip and Vickie Jones of Sulphur Springs. He is a 2002 graduate of Shenandoah High School. He is employed by REMC of Henry County and is a volunteer fireman for the Sulphur Springs Fire Department.
