Richard and Katherine Vogley announce the engagement of their daughter, Melissa Lynn, to Roderick Brett Tichenor, son of Cheryl Tichenor and the late Lyman B. Tichenor IV.

Melissa is a 1999 graduate of Saint Benet Academy, Naperville, Ill., and a 2003 graduate of Butler University with a degree in accounting. She is employed at KPMG in Indianapolis.

Roderick is a 2001 graduate of Larkin High School, Elgin, Ill., and a 2006 graduate of Purdue University, with a double major in movement and sport science and health and fitness. He is employed by Professional Fitness, Zionsville.

The wedding will take place at St. Monica’s Catholic Church in Indianapolis on Aug. 23.
