---- — Pumpkin Patch now open

PENDLETON — The Pumpkin Patch is now open to the public and open every weekend in October on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m. (During week by appointment only). There will be a corn maze, pony rides, playground, petting barn, straw pile, refreshments, entertainment and a large pumpkin patch.

Today, they will host an Antique Tractor Cruise-In. Alex Williams from Pendleton will entertain.

Admission is $4 per person, children 2 and under free. They are located at 7137 W. 675S, Pendleton.

Malloween Extravaganza Oct. 29

ANDERSON — This year's Malloween Extravaganza will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 29, at Mounds Mall, 2109 S. Scatterfield Road, Anderson.

There will be trick-or-treating, candy corn guessing game, pumpkin decorating, creepy crawlers on display from Night Stalkers.

The event is designed for children 12 and under.

Stillwell Manor Haunted House now open

ANDERSON — Stillwell Manor Haunted House opens this weekend in the former Applewood movie theater at 1704 E. 60th St., Anderson.

Prices are $15 for weekdays and Sunday and $18 for Fridays, Saturday and Halloween.

Hours are: Thursdays, Oct. 17 and 24, 7-10; Halloween, 8 to 11 p.m.; Fridays and Saturdays, Oct. 18, 19, 25 and 26, Nov. 1-2, 7 to 11 p.m.; Sunday, Oct. 27, 6 to 10 p.m.; and Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 28, 29, 7 to 10 p.m.

$3 off with a donation of three canned goods (people or pet) or an unwrapped new toy. Donations go to local Food Bank, Humane Society and Toys for Tots.

Church hosts trunk and treat

ANDERSON — North Anderson Wesleyan Church, 1947 E. 240 N (Bethany and Rangeline roads), Anderson, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 31, will host its annual trunk and treat.

There will be free hot dogs and drinks.

Church Fall Festival Oct. 19

ANDERSON — Christ Lutheran Christ, 2751 N. Scatterfield Road, Anderson, will host a Fall Festival from 2 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 19.

This kid-friendly event packs a couple of hours with free activities to jump start the fall season. Partake in games, relax on a hayride, have your face painted, try your luck at winning a sweet treat in the cakewalk, paint a pumpkin, and decorate a cookie to eat. A toddler area with activities will be available for younger children. Hot dogs and a drink can be purchased for $1. The LWF ladies will be hosting a bake sale so you can purchase some delicious goodies to take home to enjoy later.

Fall Funfest at Mounds Oct. 18-20

ANDERSON — Join Mounds State Park for a weekend of not-so-scary, family-friendly fun, Oct. 18-20.

Fall Funfest activities include:

Friday, Oct. 18:

— 7 to 9 p.m.: Friends of Mounds State Park cocoa and cookies sale outside the visitors center.

— 7, 7:30, 8 and 8:30 p.m.: Not-So-Scary Night Hikes with the naturalist through the woods on an illuminated trail. Meet at the visitors center.

Saturday, Oct. 19:

— 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.: Spooky nature crafts and critters on the visitors center lawn.

— 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.: Caramel apples, cookies and cider sale on the visitors center lawn.

— 1:30 to 2:30 p.m.: Decorate a treat bag “nature style” at the program area near the camp store.

— 3 to 5 p.m.: Trick-or-treating at the campground; parking available by the camp store.

— 5 to 6 p.m.: Learn how box turtles are celebrating Halloween as the naturalist roves the campground.

— 7 to 8 p.m.: Campsite decorating contest.

Sunday, Oct. 20:

— 11 a.m. to noon: Join the naturalist on a hike in search of fall colors. Meet at the visitors center.

— 1 to 2 p.m.: Pumpkin carving contest at the program area near the camp store. Bring your own pumpkin or use a donated one (supplies are limited).

— 3 to 3:30 p.m.: Pumpkin carving judging.

Mounds State Park is located at 4306 Mounds Road, Anderson.

Conerstone hosts Halloween party

MUNCIE — Cornerstone Center for the Arts, 520 E. Main St., Muncie, will host its annual free family friendly Community Halloween Party, from 4 to 6 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 31.

Before embarking on your spooky night of trick-or-treating, join Cornerstone for awesome games, prizes, treats, activities, refreshments and much more! This Community Halloween party will be fun for all ages; adults, children and family members. Be sure to come dressed in a fun costume and show off your Halloween spirit.

K of C kids Halloween party Oct. 31

ANDERSON — The Knights of Columbus, 1225 Main St., Anderson, will host its annual Halloween Party for children on Thursday, Oct. 31 from 6 to 8 p.m.
