ANDERSON – This summer, local drama director Darlene Lee plans to embark on an adventure into “The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.” The story is about four siblings who travel through a wardrobe into the land of Narnia and discover their destiny is to help free it with the guidance of a mystical lion.
Lee has partnered with Ovid Community Church, 793 E. 600S, organizing a summer OCC Drama Camp during June and July, with the premiere performance on Friday, July 18.
Auditions are open to public for children ages 6-14, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 24, and 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 27. Registration forms are available at the church from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. weekdays.
Cost per child is $55 by Saturday, May 17, or $65 after that date with final registration deadline of Thursday, May 29.
Practices begin Monday, June 9, and continue from 10 a.m. to noon weekdays. For further information, call Lee at 760-6147.
