Annual Good News concert coming to Reardon

---- — ANDERSON — The third annual Good News Music Radio with Woody Wright Concert comes to Anderson University's Reardon Auditorium on Saturday, Nov. 9, at 6 p.m.

The first year saw a full house at the Paramount Theatre, then last year the event was in Louisville, Ky., at the Palace Theatre where the "Rise Up, Rejoice" DVD was captured live. This year's event will also be a concert DVD production, and the cast of artists is possibly the largest Madison County gathering of award-winning musical artists ever.

The list is a who's who of gospel and country music. Grammy winners Larry Gatlin, Tanya Goodman Sykes, Russ Taff and Oak Ridge Boys founding tenor Willie Wynn are on tap, Telly Award winners the Nelons , Grammy and Dove Award-winning producer Michael Sykes will appear in the long-awaited Ponder, Sykes and Wright Reunion portion of the show, Song writer and harmonica Virtuoso Buddy Greene is on tap, along with Wright and his wife, Vonnie.

Reggie and Ladye Love Smith, super soprano Rachel West Kramer, and a live Good News Music Radio Band rounding out the roster.

The event needs no ticket; there is a $10 charge at the door, seating is open, and doors open at 5 p.m.
