MIDDLETOWN — Local youths are invited to participate in the Middletown Public Library’s talent show, “Middletown Has Talent,” at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, July 26, at the library.
Performers may choose the talent of their choice — music, dance, comedy, drama, magic, etc. Acts must be under five minutes each. The library will have available a small stage area, a microphone and an emcee.
Participants must be under age 18 and live in the Middletown-Shenandoah School Corp. area.
Cash prizes will be awarded: $25 for first place; $15 for second; and $10 for third. A panel of judges will select the winners. Participants must attend the rehearsal at 6 p.m. Friday, July 25, to be in the show.
The talent show is the closing event for the annual summer reading program at the library. You do not need to be a patron of the library to perform in the show.
Entry forms are available at the library, 780 High St. For more information, call the library at 354-4071.
