Fortville Nazarene Church to host festival

FORTVILLE — The Fortville Church of the Nazarene will host its 12th annual festival, SEPTabulous Saturday, on Saturday, Sept. 7, beginning at noon and ending with a fireworks display about 9 p.m.

There will be giant inflatables, vendors, door prizes, music, concessions, cake walk, barbecue pork and chicken, homemade ice cream, free carnival style games with lots of prizes, and barrel rides.

The Viral Photo Booth of Indianapolis will be part of this year’s festival, where for a small fee you can take home a photo memory. There will also be a petting zoo as well as the Safety House, provided by the Buck Creek Fire Department. Horse-drawn carriage ride will take place from 2 to 6 p.m. The Colts Fan Trailer will be there from 2 to 4 p.m. and Game Guru 2U game truck from 2 to 6 p.m..

A car show will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. A blood drive will be held from 1:45 to 5:45 p.m.

The church is located at 701 S. Maple St. on Fortville Pike.
