Lil Miracles to host old-fashioned carnival

ANDERSON, Ind. — Lil Miracles Pregnancy Resource Center Inc. is having a “Remember When” Old-Fashioned Carnival on June 15 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Mounds Mall (former Sears store).

There will be a 5k walk/run at 8 a.m. that day to start the festivities at Shadyside Park (volleyball side).  

They are looking for participants for the tug-of-war competition, bake-off contest, pie eating contest, watermelon seed spittin’ contest and hot dog eating contest.

The Anderson Fire Department will be starting the tug-of-war competition. Make your own team of co-workers and friends.

There will be bounce houses, a dunk tank, games for the children, a disc jockey, face painting, a “goodie” walk, snow cones, popcorn, a general store, lots of vendors, food, raffles and more.

Booth space is available and volunteers are needed.
