Trick-or-treat hours, trunk-or-treat sites Monday

ANDERSON, Ind. — A compilation of trick-or-treat hours and trunk-or-treat activities Monday in the Madison County area.

Halloween treat

ALEXANDRIA — A display of pumpkins and cartoon characters on County Road 200 West between Indiana 128 and 28 will be until midnight Monday.

There are thousands of wooden pumpkins and new cartoon characters to see this year.

Trick-or-treat hours Monday are as follows:

  • Anderson: 5:30 to 8 p.m.
  • Daleville: 5 to 8 p.m.
  • Elwood: 4 to 8 p.m.
  • Frankton: 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
  • Markleville: 6:30 to 9 p.m.
  • Middletown: 6 to 9 p.m.
  • Lapel: 6 to 8:30 p.m.
  • Pendleton: 6 to 9 p.m.
  • Yorktown: 6 to 8 p.m.
  • Alexandria: 5 to 8 p.m.
  • Summitville: 6 to 8 p.m.

These  Trunk-or-Treat events are scheduled  Monday:

Florida Station Church of God

  • Where: 1045 W. 375N, Anderson
  • When: 6 to 8 p.m. Free hot dogs and drinks, horseback rides, hayrides and plenty of candy.

New Life Church of the Nazarene

  • Where: (building behind church), 3615 Raible Ave., Anderson.
  • When: 6 to 8 p.m.

New Horizons United Methodist Church

  • Where: 611 E. 53rd St., Anderson
  • When: 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.  Free hot dogs and beverage (while they last).
  • Information: Call 644-0949.

Cross Roads United Methodist Church

  • Where: 2000 N. Scatterfield Road, Anderson
  • When: 6 to 8 p.m. Free hayride. Hot dogs and hot drinks on sale.  

Frankton First United Methodist Church

  •  Where: Eighth and Sigler streets, Frankton
  •  When: 6 to 8 p.m.

Children of all ages are invited to dress up and trick-or-treat. There will also be refreshments available for the adults.

Trails of Terror

Wasteland Cemetery

  •  Where: 654 W. 300N, Anderson
  • When: 7 to 11 p.m.
  • Admission is free but donations to benefit Hope House. in Alexandria.

Fall Festival at New Life Church

  • Where: 2230 Jefferson St., Anderson
  • When: 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Halloween party at the Eagles

  •  Where: Eagles Lodge 174, 1315 Meridian St., Anderson
  • When: 5 to 7 p.m. Halloween costume party with safe trick-or-treating for the kids. Snacks provided. $25 will be awarded first prize to the best-dressed. Entertainment by Funtime Karaoke from 7 to 10 p.m.
