---- — ANDERSON — Partygoers will get the red carpet treatment New Year’s Eve at Hoosier Park Racing & Casino.

The venue will ring in the new year with celebrity impersonators, complimentary champagne and live entertainment. Hoosier Park is continuing its New Year’s Eve Vegas-style party tradition with a high rollers theme.

“The entire evening will be catered to treating all of our guests like a high roller,” Grant Scharton, director of communications, said. “Quite literally, we’re rolling out a red carpet.”

Guests will receive special perks, hand-served hors d’oeuvres and free champagne, and a New Year’s Eve lunch buffet will run 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Sticking to the Vegas theme, couples can also get married in the “High Rollin’ Chapel O’ Love,” Scharton said usually 12 to 15 couples get married each year.

Scharton said most of the activities will begin at 6 p.m. and the live entertainment will start at 8 p.m. in the Terrace Showroom and throughout the casino. Duke Boys and the Devonshires will perform.

The 55-and-older crowd can participate in the Prime Timers Club for those who may not want to celebrate the new year at night. Hoosier Park will have a countdown at noon, free party favors and a live Frank Sinatra tribute.

Prime Timers have from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to enter for a chance to be one of two people to win $1,000.
